Very good product picture quality is amazing
It's a tiny bit slow for some web applications but otherwise great. Works with Netflix (even though it says that 'this device is not optimised for Netflix' everything seems to work fine), and also Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. It's a small projector so would not be suitable for bright daytime conditions but in a darkened room the image quality is great. Crashes occasionally but a vast improvement on my previous portable projector. If you want to project it on the ceiling you'd need to rig up a stand to allow it to point upwards while allowing air to circulate. Very happy with it.
Excellent, exactly what we needed for garden ciname.
Picture quality is amazing, even when you have uneven surfaces, or have to put it in akward place on the go. It readjust itself quite fast. tested on 100" screen and its AMAZING for the price. Bright enough to even have small table lights going and not affecting quality as bad as YT reviews show. And the sound system og my. Had a chance to test it in high ceiling room and it was close enough to cinema. Shame battery don't last entire movie, but 1.5h short film should hold no problem.
I bought this to replace a very capable optoma projector which we’ve had for a couple of years as I wanted something that was easier to set up and that we could take abroad for use when holidaying. The Halo+ is so quick to set up - and its portability is key. I’ve used this far more than anticipated as a result - as there’s no longer any faff involved in wiring in the optoma for film nights we are making much more impromptu use of the Halo. The picture quality is excellent - and the auto keystone feature really does make it a doddle to get the picture to perfectly fit the screen. I’ve married the projector up with a soundcore motion+ Bluetooth speaker as my preference is for the sound to come from in front near the image - rather than behind at the projector. This works perfectly and there is no Bluetooth lip sync lag that I had feared might be there. That said, the internal speakers are really good if that’s your preference. The notable absence is bbc iPlayer - I’ve not been able to get that natively on the projector (I have managed the straight forward work around for Netflix). I had a spare Amazon stick and that can be powered directly from the projector. Useful to know that the Halo remote can control the fire stick without any faffing. Only other thing to note is that the power cable isn’t that long between projector and power brick. So if you are projecting from high up this is dangling in mid air. I may investigate using a usb c adapter instead in the future. All in all though this is a brilliant piece of kit - and at slightly larger than my Sonos 1 speakers, is very portable.
